Ladies Devotional
I think that I am safe in saying that we would all like to be happy all of the time, but possible to have more happy moments by
changing to way that we think. Our thoughts can be very deceiving but we have the power within us to change our thoughts
and therefore change how we handle any situation that we will be faced with, and that is the secret to being happy or sad.

We know that tragic events happen to all of us but it is entirely up to us how we are going to let it define the rest of our lives.
We can live in the negativity of our circumstances or we can rise above the situation and get on with our lives. This can be
achieved simply by taking a few minutes each day to connect with our inner spirit.

It is only you that has the power to change ,you cannot change anything that has happened or will happen in your life, what
you can do is decide who is going to control the rest of your life, you or your circumstances, you and only you can decide.

This does not mean that we will never have problems on the contrary we will always be faced with situations that we will have
to deal with, and ignoring them does not make them go away ,what it means is that we don't let them destroy us we face them
and move on.

Remember you have the power within you so embrace the happy and leave the sad behind.
I would love to have you share in this time with me. If you have an uplifting devotion or message that you
think could help someone I invite It  is always nice to take a few minutes out of our day to reflect on our
lives and how things you to post it here, you never know what a few words might do to brighten another
person's day
It's Time for Rest

by Sheri Rose Shepherd
And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because
on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
— Genesis 2:3

If the devil can’t make us bad, his next trick is to burn us out.
I truly believe the cry of every woman’s heart is to be still, but we
don’t know how to stop being busy.

Our soul longs for a moment of silence. I think that is why spas
and yoga classes have become so popular; we women are so
desperate for a moment of stillness that we are willing to pay for it.
Watch today’s video and review the list below, and give your soul
a rest:

Here are a few things to help us be still...

...Take a 10 minute break—be still and listen to your favorite
worship songs and soak in His presence ...Take a 30 minute fast
from your electronics every day by turning off your phone,
television and computer ...Pray and ask God to quiet your spirit
and help you to be still. Remember, Scripture says: “My sheep
listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27

God's Letter to You

My Princess Warrior,
I long to be closer to you. I’m never too busy for you, My
beloved. If you will turn off the things around you that drown
Me out of your daily life, you will begin to hear Me in your spirit.
When you don’t know where to go, you will hear Me give you
divine direction. When you are in need of a friend, you will hear
Me whisper, “I am here.” When you need comfort, you will hear
Me call to you, “Come to Me.” Don’t let your agenda distract you
from time with Me. Quiet your spirit. Know that I am your
heavenly Father and you are My precious daughter
and I love when you crave time to be still with Me.
Your King and the Voice of heaven

My Prayer for You
I pray in Jesus' name that you will be refreshed by His love, and
learn to lay your burdens at His feet. I pray that you will stand on
His promises and find rest in knowing your God will take care of
you. I pray you will allow Him to comfort and restore you from the
inside out. May you have the peace of knowing that the Creator
of everything loves you. May you be strengthened in Him so that
you will be ready to fight any battle you may face. In Jesus name,

This is my first devotion on this website and I would like to share my views on love.
Cor.13 is the love chapter in the Bible

Love is the strongest word and emotion that humans have,it can overcome hate, reunite families and loved ones. Love isn't something that
we look for outside of ourselves,it has to start with us,it is an emotion that we feel down deep within our soul. Love is something that isn't
the least bit of good if it isn't shared. To get love we must be love and to keep it we must give it away. There are many forms of love,
parental love, friendship love, our love for God, and even self love, but the most important love of all is unconditional love that you feel for
another is essential to your own well being, this is the love that comes from God, the love that Jesus taught, everlasting, without conditions,
always supportive and always ready to forgive. When we can know within our hearts without a doubt that this is the love that we feel then
we know that we have found our God.

Sunday January 25/15

(Romans 12:1-8; 1 Corinthians 6:18-20)

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God
destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple are you?

1 Peter 5:10;

And God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make
you strong,firm and steadfast.

At times when you set down to rest and you begin to think about your life, do you sometimes feel that you are being torn down by your
troubles instead of being built up by God? Well believe it or not,God and your troubles are both at work, one to build you up and the other
to tear you down.

There is always that spiritual warfare going on within us against the spiritual nature of God that is fortifying us. The pressures in our lives
is the battle going on between the two.,but rest assured that the battle belongs to God and He will remove those waring traits and replace
them with peaceful qualities that are so much better.

God is restoring us with His wisdom, confirming His purpose in our lives, strengthening us with His power and creating an eternal nature
within Us though things may seem hopeless now rest in the promise that God has a far better life planned for us then what we are going
through right now.

When we look around at the way things are and what we hear daily on the news things can look very hopeless to some people ,but good
always wins out over evil,so keep the faith and rest in the assurance that we are not alone. God promised us His Spirit that lives within
each of us and that is what gets us through the hard times.

God Bless

Making Choices

We all like to have encouragement when we are trying to make changes in our lives. To encourage means to believe in the best of a
situation and the best in people. When  our thoughts are positive we have energy to face our challenges ,but negative thoughts drag us
down. When we are optimistic we can make a positive difference  with our chooses ,no matter how small the act or how large the problem.

We need to have our feet firmly planted on a foundation of a faith in God, He will help us make those positive changes that will bring
healing and transformation. Jesus taught us to look within to find the strength that we need to make those changes, if we look within we
will  find a right attitude to change our way of thinking.

God is always there for us,all we have to do is to keep focused on Him and act on our belief in Him. He has supplied us with everything
that we need to make the changes in our lives and make us the best that we can be, with happiness, love, contentment with everything in
our lives the way God meant it to be. So why not make those chooses and give God a chance, so far I have never met anyone that
regretted making that chose.

God Bless
Rev. Marie Yvonne.

Where is your treasure?

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
—Matthew 6:21

Sometimes finding what we treasure in our lives, our families, our communities, our world is a challenge. We might say we treasure
relationships but then realize that we never
seem to spend any time with others. We might claim that we value our faith community but discover that we haven’t played a meaningful
part in it for years. Take some time to do this exercise in finding your treasure. For, as Jesus said, “there your heart will be also” (Matt. 6:

1. Opening — Say this prayer: “God, open my eyes to see what you would have me see. Amen.”
2. Seeing — Walk around the house, apartment, or room where you live and look at the things that fill up the space. Think about the
activities and people that make up your life.
3. Writing — Make a list of five things in your life that you treasure most.
4. Reflecting — Sit down with your list and ask the following questions about the words on your list.
A. Why did I put this on the list? What does it mean to me?
B How much time do I spend engaging with this object, activity, or person?
C. Complete this sentence: “This [fill in the blank] is one of my treasures because …”
D. What do the items on this list suggest for the things, activities, and people I noticed when I walked around my living space?
5. Going deeper — Look at your list a second time. Does anything surprise you about what is there? Are there things missing from the list?

Try the above exercise in a more creative fashion. Create a collage rather than writing down a list. Or find or take pictures that represent
your treasures.

Repeat the exercise, if you have time, and think about the wider community. What are the things treasured by our society? By the world?

Do this exercise with your family or your significant other and see what you learn.

I’m faced with questions I suspect we all contemplate at some time:
• How do I know what I treasure?
• What things, people, and values are most important to me?
• Does the way I spend my time and attention reflect these values?
• If my actions do not reflect what I treasure, how do I change?
