Welcome to God's Ministry New Hope & Missions. (Home Page)                                 Discussion/Comments

We are founded upon Baptist principles. We strive to create a welcoming environment built upon a solid foundation of
God’s Word and dedicated service in preaching and living the Gospel of Christ. We hope to have you join our fellowship
so we can help each other grow in the knowledge and love of Christ.

The Eric Michel Ministries International (EMMI) is a Unitarian Baptist Fellowship with headquarters based in Ottawa
Ontario,Canada and a branch in Gatineau ,Quebec. The Chaplaincy traces its founding to Jesus and the Twelve
Apostles and sees the Bishops of the church as the successors of the Apostles. While it derives its Apostolic
Succession from the teaching of the Christian faith.

History of the beginning
In 2010 we were only a Chaplaincy under the name Eric Michel Ministries & Chaplaincy with only 3 ministries, The
Chaplaincy Ministry, The Spiritual Services Ministry  and The Teaching Ministry. Then the hole organization was a

2012 Rev Marie and Rev Eric meet and became spouses and during that time we found out that the Chaplaincy needed
an organisation to endorse the Chaplaincy, In Canada we where the only one of our kind so we needed to establish one.
It was Rev. Marie's dream for a long period of time to have her own church

and in
2013 was born New Hope Ministry, completely independent from EMMI.

2014 for economic reason EMMI & NHM merge and become New Hope Ministry & Missions. During the year EMMI
registered  with the Government as a religious non for profit corporation under the number 895170-5.

Today EMMI count 12 ministries and New Hope Ministry & Missions is the backbone of them all.
1st it is the only ministry dedicated to worship, with out NHM&M it has no religious movement.
2nd NHM&M is involve in all ministries. It is the ministry that supplies the clergy, administering the all EMMI.
The Chaplaincy work under the clergy board, but NHM&M works hand in hand with the clergy board and also the board
of Elders.

Any thing going on at EMMI it has to be through the NHM&M first.

The Sacraments
Even if our Chaplain Minister as any other minister are authorized to celebrate all of the sacraments,
they usually use only communion and unction in the field. NHM&M celebrates all of them who are:

  1. Baptism
  2. Holy Communion
  3. Holy Matrimony
  4. Unction and
  5. Holly Order
“Enter through the narrow gate.
For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction
and many enter through it.
But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life,
and only a few find it.”
Matthew 7:12-13
The Fellowship
With our open communion, meaning that you do not have to be a member of this church or any
church. Every body can receive the holy communion. With this statements  it sets up the tone of our
believe and teaching,  Progressive, non dogmatic The work of the Holy Spirit on mankind to bring
peace on every home. God is All Love. He is Compassion, He is Forgiveness, He is Kindness.
He is the only Reality. He is the source of all religions. Called by different names: Brahman, Atman,
Jehovah, Father in Heaven, or Allah, that Supreme Reality is One. It is that Reality which is
worshipped in all places of worship: Hindu temple, Jewish synagogue, Christian church, Islamic
Mosque. It is the One Being glorified in all the scriptures of the world.  And all religions say that God
is in you, Islam says, "there is the Light of Allah in man." the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna says, "I am
the Soul seated in the hearts of all beings. "Christianity and Judaism say that God created man in His
own image and breathed His spirit into him. The Goal of each soul is to go back and join the spirit of
God to reunite through a greater enlightenment of self, to reach the highest level of rebirth after
death as a god-like being.
\We believe in the "Interfaith Philosophy", which honors and values the fundamental beauty and
wisdom in all traditions. For us Christian, it's God our Lord, Christ, our Father in Heaven. We
do not
hold to exclusive views on salvation. We have developed a view of the New Testament as an extended
covenant; We believe that any person in a valid relationship with God earn a heavenly reward.

Being Christian is LOVE, love God, love your neighbour like yourself, keep peace.
The answer as to be Christian  is in Matthew 22:36-39

“Teacher, what is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

Jesus answer was, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and
with all your mind. This is the great first commandment.

The second, which is like it, is this " You must love your neighbor as you love yourself. On these two
commandments hang all the Law and the prophets.”

As we practice THE commandement, we are Christian no matter what the others think.

Quotation from the TV SERIES GREEN LEAVE on OWN:

- What do you believe, Grace?

- Well, mama, I believe that the Bible is one useful tool to see into the heart of God in the Christian

Well, I guess I believe there's a part of everything that tries.
You know, like plants try to grow, animals try to survive,
people try to better themselves to get ahead.
Everything tries to do something.
And I guess I think that Christianity is just one
way that the trying part of people
tries to connect with the trying part of everything else.

- Here, here. I'd go to that church.
- Me, too. Amen!

Each Christian church has their definition of what it is to be a Christian, but Jesus was not a member
of any of those churches, matter of fact, he is a Jew, teaching Jewish things to Jewish people
and He does not have any clue as what is a Christian, it was not invented yet.

But to be sure just follow the great commandement in which we find in the Golden Rule.
